sohctodohc's h22 i hope i can get into a class build
Heys long time member, mainly lurk in the back.
Owned a 94 civic coupe since I was 15, this year I finally picked up a 92 hatchback shell and plan to get half *** serious with it. On to the good stuff:
Engine specs:
JDM h22 block and head
Wiseco 8.5:1 pistons k1 rods
Factory cams
Factory bore n stroke
Factory m2b4 transmission (minus reverse, real pain in the *** to get it into gear)
Turbo goodies:
Was a lovefab ramhorn, currently waiting on my sheepey built topmount to show up any day!
We are using a ots Borg warner s367 considering upgrading to a bullet wheel(don't know if it is worth it or not?)
Single tial 44mm gate
Last year we ran a skunk intake manifold, this year we upgraded to a xcessive engineering manifold
Suspension:
Axles we haven't decided on either insane axles or DSS
Kks 6 point cage for the time being (had to replace super shitty cage that was originally in the car)
Suspension was some Cusco coilovers (currently for sale) this year we upgraded to progressive suspension
Fuel:
Fuel setup is gonna be id1000 as secondary injectors and wrx injectors up front with the tips removed roughly 800-1000cc depending on pressure.
Walboro in-tank and aeromotive inline pump
Were tuning with aem v2, my brother does all of the tuning
Last year we made 500 spinning on the dyno at 17psi running out of fuel (e85) that was id1000 injectors and a walboro 400 in-tank
To help save money on the project since its just me and my brother throwing money at it when we can we have decided since I'm a machinist and my brother is an engineer we are making quite a few one off parts ourselves for the car which would be:
Alternator relocation kit for the bigger 140amp crv alternator
Booster delete plate
Coil on plug cover with about a .005 interference fit on the coils to hold them down rather than foamuner the factory cover
IAC relocation block
Down the road were gonna convert to bronze bushing suspension
Custom mounts that sit the engine back an inch in the engine bay
Possibly our own fuel rails
Our own traction bar setup
And our own fuel pump hanger
That's all I can think of at this point. Will try to get pics of cars engine and one off parts up asap
Were hoping to get into some ifo events since we're only about 1.5 hours away from st.Louis
Any questions feel free to ask, sorry about the half *** podt
Sick of trying to do this off my phone will update shortly when I get to my computer
