Default OBD1 motor in OBD2b Car - wiring and distributor questions

I have searched and searched, I cant find anything concerning my particular swap, i have found bit and peices or information everywhere which have been helping but i want to end this confusion and just get a solid answer.

I have a EK obd2b civic EX, I recently blew the D16y8
I swapped in a B16a SIR obd1 motor I had laying around.
Everything is together and bolted in ready to go; however, im having problems plugging it all in.

This will be ran on a obd1 p30 ecu with the obd1-obd2b jumper harness.

Quesitons:
What are my options to get the Dizzy to work?
The IAT has already been relocated and plugged up.
what other wiring issues do i need to adress?

I live in Louisiana no emission here.

Iv looked and looked but keep getting confused as to what jumper harness i need for the dizzy. PWJDM sells one and descibes exactly what i need, however at the bottom says it does not work with a 99-00

Something about the obd2B makes it more difficult than a obd2a

OBD2B and OBD2A both have one plug, the OBD2B uses a smaller one plug. OBD1 uses two plugs. You'll need OBD2B to OBD1 like this
http://www.rywire.com/catalog/obd2-8...pter-p-45.html

Also you'll need an alternator adapter.

Reuse your Ex injectors

My harness only has one plug (8 pin) on the car. Now if it had the 99-00 SI harness it would work

Swap came out of a 97 ek, so all that was already swapped ready to go its all plugged in, I really appreciate the lookout though.

I just purchased that adapter an im going to give it a try

I have a dohc obd2 dizzy, it works with motor but uses the big plug and and will not work with my harness. THe obd1 dizzy i have wont plug either. Iv tried both routes.

Im really hoping that harness i ordered works flawlessly and this thing just starts right up.

you have an obd2b d series plug, which is the rectangle 8 pin. B series still used the square plug.

http://www.rywire.com/catalog/obd2-8...pter-p-43.html

that is the one to use if you're going to use the obd2 b series distributor.

Thats the plug that will make my obd2 dizzy i have for that motor work, iv already purchased the obd1 plug. to use with the original obd1 dizzy that came with the motor.

Should i run the obd1 or 2 dizzy?
I beleive i also have to run a wire for my tach to work?

Either 1 or 2 will be fine

Yeah you'll have to run a wire for the tach.
