Default What is the clicking?

2005 v6 accord with a remanned engine clicks like crazy. Had a valve adjustment by a good Honda tech but did not solve the problem. It is clearly in the engine and not the injectors.

Tech stated it could be a cam lobe but it is now going to shop that did reman.

Any other ideas what a loud ticking could be on essentially a new engine? How about lost motion assembly?

Any update on this issue? Sorry, I can't help you, but I'm curious to see if you found an answer.

No answers. Shop states cam lobes are fine. Another Honda tech said to check the following:
Timing belt and tensioner (both apparently ok)
That valves are seated properly and the correct size
That cam towers were checked and torqued down properly

Anyone else know what it could be? Im desperate!,,

It has to be something with the rebuild. Something wasn't done to spec. In order to find out what it is you have to pinpoint where the sound is coming from and go from there.
