Aftermarket Wheels!!
So I am looking in2 aftermarket wheels and I really like these:

Well I have a couple questions... Thanks All
1rst- the TPMS sensors, I'm thinking it'll be easier to buy a spare set for the wheels to make the seasonal changing easier. Do dealerships rape us when it comes to adjusting them each time? Go to my regular mechanic?
2- can I upgrade the tire size to 18s? Do I have to modify my ride much I order to do this? Would it be a big problem cuz I plan on keeping my stock wheels n slapping winter tires on it for the season.
Is it not worth it to go back from 17 to 18 back to 17? Doesn't sound good to me lol.
Thanks peoples, I appreciate the input!!

You can go up to 18s, but adjust the ratio accordingly or you'll throw your odometer and speedo off..IE: 17x7 215/45r17 to 18x8 225/40r18 or something to that effect.
As well, you will note that the larger rim will increase your un sprung weight unless they are forged rims like a Gram lites or Rays...
Get new TPMS sensors for the new rims and have them checked with each rotation...

The reason for that is because you want to keep the same aspect ratio as close to stock for the simple reason it won't throw off your speedo that much. Meaning your traveling speed will be more accurate and not off!
I personally would stay on 17's and do a 17x9 with a 45 offset with 225/45/17. It's the perfect size for street use... I'm going with 235/45/17 but that is because I'll be tracking the car and the extra rubber will be greatly appreciated!

The larger the rim, the shorter your tire sidewall will be...unless you want your speedo and odometer to be off...I personally don't like speeding tix...
Alright.. Thanks guys... Yeah I think Ill stick to 17s, wont mess anything up. Also I do live in NJ n these potholes r just asking 4 problems.. Also I will look in2 extra rubber on 245s like Davie mentioned.. likeI really appreciate the input
