98 Honda Civic EX coupe, 5 speed manual, no ABS. I plan on doing the rear disc conversion, thought it might be a good time to look into adding ABS if it's even possible. Has it been done, can it be done, where would I find instructions for it?

 

Well I think the ex had abs from factory right?

If so then it should be easy depending on what your missing.

If the car never came equipped with abs then your in for a big job the wiring harness is integrated into the harness.

 

i wouldn't bother, personally. The wiring for the sensors is there from the factory, but it's not really worth the trouble to redo all the lines to add the ABS pump in.

 

waste of time. just run it without abs

 

Look at your axles. If it has the ridges near the knuckle it will have abs

 

Thanks for the input guys. Think I will just do the rear disc brake conversion and stop there. Sounds like to much work for ABS.

 

Forget ABS. I swear driving without it, especially in the Los Angeles area, has made me a much better driver
