Remove injector control harness, 2001 Accord LX?
[EDIT: it is 2001, not 2002. Sorry]
Hi; new member, first posting.
I am trying to help my step-daughter out with an EGR code on her 4-cylinder, 2001 Accord LX. This is the L4-2253cc engine, and as best as I can tell, it has the intake manifold that needs to be drilled in order to clean out the EGR ports.
My problem is, I can't get to the manifold, because I cannot figure out how to move the injector wiring harness (which sits above the fuel rail) out of my way. There are pictures and videos online of people doing this, but on their engines, this wiring harness only has a cable coming out of one end, so they can easily swing it over to one side, out of the way. On my step-daughter's car, the cable comes out of both ends, and heads off into a larger harness (at both ends,) with no obvious way of detaching it.
Tomorrow, if helpful, I could post actual pictures of what I'm dealing with. At the moment, the best I can offer is the following picture found on the interweb, demonstrating what I cannot do.

So it turns out I was wrong about her intake manifold. It is *not* the kind that needs to be drilled... but nor is it the kind that has an EGR port access plate. Rather, it has a single EGR passage that runs from the EGR valve directly to the front of the intake plenum. So all I really needed to do was remove said intake plenum, and I could do so without removing the fuel rail (or the troublesome wiring harness above it.)
That said, I did discover a possible method of moving my wiring harness out of the way, to get access to the fuel rail: with the intake plenum removed, I can disconnect the part of the harness that runs to the alternator, and then the harness can be pushed back towards the windshield.
So, that makes my original question somewhat moot. But I will still post pictures, if anyone thinks that is helpful.

With throttle body and intake plenum out of the way, this particular style of wiring harness can be pushed back towards the windshield for access to fuel rail. However, you likely have to disconnect harness at the alternator to do so.
(Aside: see EGR nastiness, after 270K.)
