Need help replacing the exhaust on my sols
Okay so I have three del sols and they have all developed a break in the exhaust in the same spot. They are almost impossible to drive now being so loud. I just want to put a new exhaust on all of them, and since I have three I want to do them all myself because after I do one the other two should be easy. I just need to know what parts and what they will cost, and what tools I will need. I was hoping there was a diy around here but cant find one
yes all stock, I will try to get a pic later, it is pretty far from the back. I don't know if I have to replace everything, but it looks like it is one peice
just cut the rusted section out if the rest is fine then weld in a new section. you undo some hangers and bolts it's that simple get under the car and have a look. I'd scrap those del slows asap can't even imagine owning one.

I bought an entire B pipe (section between cat) on ebay or some parts site for $70 shipped. Try rockauto.com or ebay.
Bolt it in. Buy new bolts and springs.

pictures of the three. The reason I want to replace it all is because I have no way to cut or weld and don't want to pay someone and have it break again.

yah that's pretty bad, look on cl/local classifieds for someone selling a sol exhaust. why do you have 3 of them I'm assuming they're parts cars

No they aren't parts cars, I have 6 del sols, I like them so I buy them when I can get a good deal. these exhausts have broken over time. I admit it has become a problem driving them all and not letting them sit for long periods, it seems like there is always one or two needing to be fixed, but they are old. I just don't know exactly what to buy, can you find me a good listing on ebay to buy? These never come in the junk yard either

You need a B pipe (mid pipe). Hope you have a torch to loosen those flange bolts. Where do you live? The deck of the Titanic?
I'd recommend using 316 type stainless bolts for your re - assembly.

92 CX, 99 SI, 13' LX, it just ... happens...
but yea, B-pipe, pick up an angle grinder to remove the remnants of the one that severed from your catalytic, (Harbor freight, 20$) best fuggin tool you could own IMO.
