Should I sell my coupe and just buy a hatchback? I would probaly just buy a EH hatchback because they look the best to me. My girlfriend said she would buy it if it had a motor she would pay me for the motor plus $1,000 and value of car.

i own a 97 coupe but also love hatchbacks..but i think the # of done up hatches kills the # of done up coupes..i say keep the coupe

a coupe will weigh a few hundred more pounds unless you have a naked one like toms then who knows how much less itll weigh..are you going for a more race type car??

My 96 DX Coupe is only 33lbs heavier than a CX Hatchback. I know these stats are for a 97, but Honda took 96 off of their website. It's the same car. Also, if these weights are wihtout fluids, passengers, etc...the difference is still relative.

It all depends on what YOU want to build. Don't buy a hatch because it's now "cool" to own one. Everyone used to hate hatchbacks. Do what you like to do, and be happy.

That is a different generation of civic. I think with 5th gen there is a 200 lb. difference.
