turbo zc, building bottom end, just a couple questions
today i am gonna drop off my zc bottom end to have some work done. has anyone done the (coated) LS rods into a zc, i read a while back that they can supported 350hp? anyone know how much new ZC pistons can handle, and should i coat them? someone told me that they are perfect for turbos, what rings should i use? if i can use the ls rods i wouldn't mind buying other pistons, i'd rather use what i have for way over budget purposes
well here is what i have for my zc that i'm gonna put together during the winter, all i need to do is get the bottom end done and i'll start assembling everything, i have a full Bullfrog(GUDE) head package with turbo cams, apex-i turbo kit with IC, PMS system, blockguard, dsm (blue) injectors, fuel rail, all arp studs, full MSD ignition(6A), thermal r&D turbo exhaust w/ test pipe. JUN u.light flywheel, ACT clutch, ZC LSD tranny. anything i need that i don't have? anything i should change? i wanna run 10+psi on the kit w/ a small shot of nitrous. let me know what i need or if i'm okay with what i've already planned, THANKS!!!!
