timing question

Default timing question

I know this is a horrible qestion...I searhed too. Well anyways.. I was putting my zc back together and I what postion should the cam gears being in compared to the crank pully. Thanks.

should be in your manual you own right? if its sohc zc its timed like a d16a6 if its dohc its timed like the 2nd gen teg..though im not certain on the latter, so don't quote me on that...

I lost the manual. What I really trying to find out is should the two arrows be pointing up when the red dot on the crank pully is timed right. Sorry it is hard to explain.

no
u need to take crank pulley off and alignt the mark on the crank gear thingy.. tothe mark on the block... then alignt the head to its marks... theres one mark on the block to align to the crank gear... and another 3 on the head...
