Personally I would look into some 15" rotas. But u really shouldn't have trouble clearing the stock brakes even with a 13" wheel. Is it an si or a base model?

exospeed 13" will fit your stock brakes, they fit 10.5" brakes M&H 24.5 drag slicks

I am using kosei k1 15" with NSX 11.5" brakes M&H muscle car tires, 236/60/15 or 25.4

i use vx wheels with hossier r6 185/60/13 tires with success. i cut 2.0 60ft's with them and seem to work decently on the street.

versus the $300-$400 per rim top dollar forged aluminum drag wheels yeah. 14.5lbs is the same weight as some fat fives or meshes or aftermarket 15's. the key word here is "CHEAP" as the OP asked for. yes vx wheels are light, about 10lbs, but you'll only be able to run at very most a 205 on them if your lucky. i'll take the extra 5lbs and run some real meats

ive seen 22x8 and 23x8 tires on vx wheels, so im sure a 205 wouldnt be a problem. i may step up to a 205 when my 185's wear out. you can pick up vx wheels for cheap as well. i understand where your coming from though. i like to be able to hook with the smallest lightest wheel and tire combo.
