Default Transmission mount weld?

I know for a fact that my transmission was swapped from auto to manual. Can anybody tell me why i can see a mount that looks welded (for the current transmission), but not a spot where the old mount would have been for the auto? Is it shaved off? I would expect to see some sort of discoloration.

and here's my car after the car wash today. Finally got the mounds of road salt off of her.

Wait what? What's this about rust?

Is that the one that hangs under the frame rail on the passenger side of the bay?

that orange stuff is light surface rust ! deal with it before it spreads, nope this is the one that gets replaced with an auto to manual.

Yeah, so i was right. I was centered on that. I was simply showing the chassis bracket where the mount fits into. So where does the auto one go? I'm cornfused.

Someone welded the proper manual bracket to the frame rail. The automatic version is angled up at a 45° angle.
