Default Clutch Fork Spring 93 Integra Cable Tranny

So I am replacing the TOB on my cable ys1 trans and i've done this several times before, but this return spring is kicking my ***. Is there anyway to take the tension off the spring to be able to clip the spring ends back into the TOB notches? I have the clutch cable arm pulled all the way up, so the clutch fork is fully pressed up against the back of the TOB, then I am trying to clip these spring ends into the TOB. Any help would be appreciated.

I remove the clutch arm out of the transmission.
Theres a 10mm (I think) bolt that holds the arm to the fork. Remove that and slide the arm out (might take a little twisting while pulling)

After that put the throughout bearing on the fork, spring and all, and set it into the Input shaft. Make sure the bottom end of the spring is set properly through the grooves in the case.

Then you carefully slide the clutch arm back into the transmission, and through the springs and clutch fork, and put the bolt back into the fork.
