I have a 06 RSX Type S, I replaced my cmc recently and afterwards my pedal started making this squeaking noise but then it would go away, yesterday i droped my phone while i was driving so I did what any law abiding citizen would do and waited til i got home to get it, i noticed a piece of metal and thought something had broken so i took off the covers off from under neath the steering wheel and seen this. Now is there any one who can tell me where i can buy one aftermarket if not then refer to the part number or am I the first person this has happened to, thanks.

 

fixed this, guess i wasnt the first one to have this happen too, it turns out that the omni cmc puts too much force/pressure on the bracket itself, best thing to do is to weld stronger points on them or go with a more forgiving cmc, im going with em2 cmc
