Im in need of assistance, i have 1999 honda hb ek, bought it while back knowin id have to replace the transmission in near future cuz it was popping n grindin a lil in third gear, been a while now n its deff bout time for new transmission i jus need help on knowin if there are any other transmissions from other engines tht are compatible witb the d16y7 and if so wht are the codes ?

 

Any '92 - '00 D-series transmission will work. EX/Si models (B000 stamped near the fill hole) are geared the shortest/lowest and will give you the best acceleration.
