I found a site http://www.osakajdmmotors.com that has engines at what seems to be a decent price.

What is the major diff. between these two engines? What gives the Type-S 20+hp stock over the H22A?

Lastly, Is the diff. worth the $1050 diff. in price? Just thought i would ask anyways.

The type S has 11:1 compression, more agressive cams, and a better intake manifold and exhaust manifold. A used factory LSD that comes with the engine tranny should be at most worth $500 more. i wouldn't pay more then that.

 

again, not all 220PS h22's (which is 217HP by the way) have an LSD......the Type S has ATTS, the SiR S-Spec has the LSD

 

you pay the extra to say you have a jspec h22
