Could be the gear sleeves or the shift cable is bent . What transmission do you have ? The accord or prelude transmission ? Do you drive in 2nd at high rpm a lot?

You would need to pull the transmission and get a close up and if your pulling it a part be best to rebuild the whole transmission specially if it has high km/miles. If that's to advanced for you and you don't drive it like its stolen then I would just go to your local junk yard and replace the tranny most likely cheaper then having someone else rebuild it. The accord transmission has longer gears then the h22 trans and find in my area its way cheaper then a h22 trans. Like 150$ cheaper.
