Default please fill me in real quick

i checked the search and couldn't find anything. can someone please fill me in real quick.. i foudn a 4-1 header cheap. i heard 4-1 set up on n/a wasn't a good idea, cause u lose torque or what not. should i just pass and find 421 instead? or would it not make much of a difference? anybody have a 4-1 on ur their set up ...who are n/a?

Generally speaking, you will get more top end power out of a well designed 4-1 header, sometimes at the expense of mid-range torque. Vis versa with a 4-2-1 header. That assumes good quality, not some APC sheit or something.

4-1 have tendency to take away some low end power, but you get more high end power.

4-2-1 have a tendency to give better low end, but less gains up top.

But you will see gains going from a stock cast header to any decent tubular header regardless of design.

When I installed the JDM honda header on my ITR powered EK, I noticed a slight loss in low end, but VTEC kicks in really hard and screams. I can really feel the additional power up top.

I think the JDM ITR and CTR headers are 4-1. You shouldn't have too much noticeable low-RPM power loss, especially compared to the upper gains.

I'd buy it.
