Icon3 James_Woods BUYER BEWARE!

Scammer Period! He/She might be using different names on this site as James_Woods is recently created.

Long story short, I purchased what I thought was some RSX tail lights. He was in constant communication with me up until the payment was received on his end (Feb. 3rd) then he pretty much fell off the face of the earth.

Tried to get in contact with him via PMs and even PayPal tried to, he has not responded, I gave him one last try to correct this last week Friday and NOTHING!

I have put in a claim thru PayPal and so far I am in favor to receive my reimbursement.

Its sad that Honda-Tech/marketplace are becoming more and more filled with scammers...

If you pay with PayPal your purchase is covered!!

And these no way you can tell if you are in "favor" of getting your money back untill final decision is made lol.

If you didn't get your product you will get your money back.

I'm just repeating what customer service told me, weather they it's true or not I don't know... Since he/she hasn't answered PayPal that's what they said.

You like my threads don't you? Lol

Yeah I know I usually do, this I didn't bother looking at their history here as I never really ran into any issues... And BaM! Lol.

not the case with my experiance.

several years ago i had issue with fab company sending me parts I paid for.
I contact paypal.
Claims department said all they can do is "reach out to seller by email & phone" if seller doesn't respond, they can't issue any sort of refund.

that was my first and last claim for paypal.
Retared claim process. I do not find any value in their claims handeling so ever since that occurance i've never paid paypal a dime I send all my transactions as gifts and tell others to do the same (if they feel comfortable with it).

So with my experiance, I do not see the value behind paying them a transaction fee.
it takes money away from me & people who buy from me.

nomsayin?

Thats why I always pay with credit card through paypal. If paypal won't step in like they claim, file a claim through your credit card company, they will take the money from paypal and give it back to you.
Paypal than has no choice except to go after their money from the seller/company that ripped off you.

Unfortunately I've had to go that route twice with scammers here on H-T. And I never send payment as gift, I will pay the paypal fees for goods, then they are in violation of their own policies if they do not act against a seller for not shipping and item or item not as described.

Did you receive a wrong parts or you didn't receive anything?
Paypal should refund your payment if there was no shipping transaction record...

Not sure what happens when the seller ships a wrong parts but if there was no tracking # to confirm delivery status, the buyer automatically win the case.

H-T be very vigil with who you make transactions with it's sad but apparently this site is starting to get more and more scammers and whatnot as time goes by.
