Default Help identifying engine - JDM D15b?

I was told this was the jdm D15b and was hoping someone could confirm it. I am curious which parts will and won't fit on this engine, when I go to do simple things such as change the oil will it be a specific filter or will the regular 1990 civic filter work? Any help is appreciated as I am in the process of getting this car rebuilt and could use some help on what parts will fit. Image posted below, thanks.

What does the stamp on the front of the block say?

It's right on the left side of the block next to the transmission. It's a flat spot with the engine code stamped on it.

Unfortunately I can't get to the car right now as it is covered in snow.

Snow sucks.

Well, when you get a chance to look, if there's a number at the end of the engine code, it's not JDM.

no one is going to "help out" youre going to lift your hood and read the engine code off the block and answe your own question.

there are too many combinations of these motors and people swap various parts onto diff blocks etc.

You're pointing to the correct spot. Clean it off with a rag and degreaser and you will have your answer.

It's a MPFI SOHC VTEC motor. That's for sure. There is only a handful of them. (D15B, D16Z6, D16Y8) You will have to check it out. It is impossible to tell.

Actually, the block could be just about anything and the head on it may be a vtec head.
Just pointing that out.
Block number will let you know what the bottom end is.
