Icon2 VTEC pressure switch

Sorry if this is a newb question, but when it comes to this, I'm pretty much a newb .

I am putting a B16B into a 94 Delsol. I've been reading up on wiring the VTEC and have and only see where I have the VTEC solenoid. I don't see a pressure switch on the engine. Am I missing something or does this engine type not need the pressure switch?

One other question: there was one additional sensor connection on the intake manifold of the stock engine that I don't have on the B16B. It was toward the top / rear on the driver's side. Is this not needed for this engine? Do I need to modify anything with the ECU or wiring?

JDM engines don't have pressure switch, you need to bypass it.

Here we go!!

Pretty sure you talking about the IAT, yes it's necessary.

This is?

This is the b16b manifold

That's not the sensor I was referring to, although I know what that one is for now

The sensor I am asking about was located right above that one on the delsol manifold. It's a black device mounted on the manifold. I have a picture, but I can't figure out how to get it uploaded on here. I could email it to you (or anyone for that matter) if it would be helpful.

So, do I just leave it unplugged or do i need to do anything electrically with the plug? Thanks again for all the help!

And if I abandon it is there anything else that I can remove in the bay to clean it up?

I'm using the US ECU, but am sending it off to be chipped / base mapped at phearable. Would they be able do what's necessary to make the ECU not throw the code?

Yes, they will ask you when you fill out your set-up for your base map.
