installed a new distributor and it works great. car runs great but, tachometer doesn't work now! where do I check? thx.

 

Blue wire on the distributor is tach.
Make sure the distributor plugs are connected tight and that all the pins are seated in position.

 

thx 4drEF, worked plug a couple times. still no go. is there a electrical reading I can check to see if the distributor side is good. the harness side plug is old and loose. i'll get some jumper wires and try it again. thanks.
