Finally ran my first 9 second passes

Went to IFO Baytown today. First let me say that they put on a great show for us import guys.

Ran an 11.90 off the trailer with the car all over the place. Made some adjustment and second qualy ran a new personal best of 9.849 @ 155. First round elims backed it up and went faster with a 9.82 @155. Next round of elims ran another new PB of 9.74 @ 156.7 mph

Took the win with a 10.0 @120 after 4th gear let go just before the 1000 foot.

Setup is 89/84 GSR AEBS Sleeves by Howard Anderson @ ARFab
Precision 6266 .82 turbo, top mount, skunk2 ultra E98 Ignite fuel
These passes were made at 23-24 psi boost
Car made 707/444 on 19 pounds

All in all a great day. Trans will get repaired and get the car ready for IFO Ennis.

Cliff said my 9.82 he thought was a record and I said well this next pass will be a 9.7 LOL and I ran the 9.74. Idk if it is a record for IFO but I'm digging the times. Car goes faster every time it's out.

Pretty sure Cliff told me that no 62mm Honda had gone 9s in FIS before as well. Congrats, curious as to how you're making so much power on 20-24psi, when others are taking 30+psi to produce the same power. Whats the engine setup if you don't mind sharing

ARFab built short block AEBS Sleeves, 84mm bore 11:1 compression arias pistons, upgraded wrist pins crower rods, acl race bearings. Stock port gsr head, GSC valves, Supertech springs retainers locks, GSC turbo cams, Skunk2 ultra 3.5l intake garrett 900hp intercooler, 2.5" hotside 3" cold side piping. 72mm throttlebody Nothing super special just everything works well together. precision 6266 .82 T3. PLM top mount twin turbosmart gates.

Car is currently on S300 and will still be on S300 for IFO dallas in 3 weeks. AEM V2 will be installed after that and some changes made to the car.

Correction, Trackforged Civic coupe made the first 9sec pass in FIS class and was the fastest. But to date, Turbo-LS, you are now the fastest in FIS by a mere 1/10000. Good job on your new pb! I need to hurry and catch up to you fast guys.

Nice pass. Like i said i was told this I wasnt sure the reality of it. wow 1/1000th thats insane Good luck on going faster, we're surly going to try our hardest to run 9.60's in three weeks

I can't believe how fast everyone is going nowadays, it's so hard to keep up. I wouldn't doubt that there may be a 9.4x or 9.3x pass by the end of the season.
