OEM Shoe Horn Scraping Noise
Does anybody else use the OEM Honda shoe horn to contact the horn plate on the back of their NRG hub? I've used dielectric grease to fix this problem, but it keeps coming back. When I turn I hear the shoe horn loudly scraping up against the plate (like it should) and the screaching sound is very annoying.
What do most people do to prevent this noise, yet still have a working horn with an aftermarket hub?

The NRG wheels come with a nice little plate that you use and bend a tab up to meet the back of the hub, it just screws on to the blinker/wiper switch box. I'll try n get a pic of mine for you.
It must be a new thing that's included. I got mine like 3 years ago and most people were using any piece of metal, but I decided to use the OEM shoe horn which is a flexible copper piece of metal that is perfect for a spade connector (what I have on the end of my horn wire). http://www.inlinefour.com/oemhoshho.html
I would be glad to see a picture of yours. It does not make any noise when it is rubbing against the plate?
