1990 honda civic hazards work but nothing else will

Icon2 1990 honda civic hazards work but nothing else will

Car was running fine one day the next it wouldn't start brought battery in and got it checked, cleaned terminals and wiring to battery, hazards work and nothing else will turn on. seatbelts are automatic and won't even move

Please help

can it be ignition switch issue ? dose it crank or can you describe it a little more?

hazard is one of the only thing that will work without the key IN, thats why i think it might be your key switch

Sounds like the hood 60A fuse is blown.

no lights come on. i get nothing when i crank key. their is no power to any of the car its not dim its nothing . i am going to check 60 A fuse this afternoon i will let you know. if you need anymore info to try and help let me know i appreciate all the input.

also the hazards are on a separate relay then everything else. if you pull one of your turn signal bulbs out they are going to blink faster, but if you turn on your hazards they will still blink normal.

what? Some idiot cut off my corner light harnesses of my crx but my hazards still flashed slow, but turn signals would flash fast, why is that?

The hazards and blinkers use the same bulbs and relay.

My speculation:

hazards = 4 bulbs flashing

turn signals = 2 bulbs flashing

When 1 out of 4 hazard bulbs is out, the circuit voltage is 25% higher during each flash cycle.

When 1 out of 2 blinker bulbs is out, the circuit voltage is 50% higher during each flash cycle.

I think the resulting voltage differences lead to different pulse rates for the relay.
