When the car was bought it had a carbon fiber hood on it that was in rough shape. Me and a buddy took it off and into his shop and went to work on it and here is what we came up with. It is a Kandy Aztec Green Pearl. It took us hitting the hood with a DA using 220 grit and then wet sanding using 400 grit. The hood was in real bad shape, it had scratches and the clear was coming off and starting to yellow. It only has 3 coats of clear right now but we are going to take it back off and wet sand it again and then hit it with another 3 coats of clear.

 

maybe im just a little slow, but i don't get it.
