Brakes = FUBAR
What's up again guys. So here's the deal, I got NO brakes. I mean none I slam the pedal to the floor and I do not slow down whatsoever. It's an 89 civic hatch, and I know I has to have cracked one, or both I my rear hard lines.
So my real question is would front only manual brakes be a bad thing for daily driving?
I've got the wilwood 4 pot caliper kit with matching disks, and have thinking about doing the wilwood brake booster delete setup, and since that wilwood MC only has one output I could just tee it to both the front brakes. It'd save me the time because it's my DD, and it can't be off the road for that long.
I'm not looking for stupid answers, or remarks, I've read threads where the OP has done the booster delete, and if they're bled right there won't be much of a difference from boosted brakes. Putting presure on the pedal won't be a problem with me, I just really wanna know what it would be like only having front brakes.
Thanks guys.

you may have a wheel cylinder or two leaking. hows the fluid in your reservoir? any missing? dont these cars usually only use the front brakes on regular driving? and the rears are only for emergencies or hard braking???
Standard brakes are all setup with 2 circuits.
Each circuit consists of one front tire and the opposite rear tire.
They are set up like that for safety so your car is less likely to spin out if you lose one side.
> This is why when you bleed brakes you start at the rear wheel furthest from the reservoir followed by the opposite front tire..
To lose ALL brakes is a zero fluid issue -or- a completely broken master cylinder.
See if you have any fluid - easy enough to check.
Go to the junk yard, for sale ads, ebay or whatever and just fix your car properly.
Compared to your Wilwood kit, it shouldn't cost much at all even if you went with BRAND NEW MC and lines.
You don't really have any excuses to not fix this correctly as far as I'm concerned.
