Default Acura Integra Engine Build

I have a 1999 acura integra ls. When i bought it, it had a swapped b20 block with b18 head. It also came with a full turbo kit for the car just not installed. Ive heard b 20 blocks are bad to boost. Should i boost the car how it is or get a b18 block or what?

I'm guessing that turbo kit is one off ebay right ? post a pic of all the pieces. B20's have never been boost friendly see if you can trade it up for a b18 block and then get a VTEC head.

Y u using a b18 head on a b20?

Get rid of that b18 head and swap a vtec head on it.

If u goin to boost it get ready to tune it afterwards. B careful boosting the b20s, if not tune right u can easily crack a sleeve

I found a guy who tunes hondas and he said they have to be tuned right and ill be fine. And yeah the turbo is a ebay one im pretty sure. I will just use that turbo for now and run low boost psi. And ill eventually get a new one. And i wanna put a b16 vtech head for sure. I think i should save up a bunch of money then buy all the new parts at once. Because ill need a new ecu, new injectors, new fuel pump.

If its an Ebay setup, dont waste your time using it. There is a review of those kits in the Forced Induction forum if you want to read up on it...it'll change your mind on using it

Injectors are support mods. The only reason to upgrade is when you are already making enough power that the stock injectors cannot keep up. Unless you are around the 190 whp mark the stock injectors can do the job. That said you may gain a couple hp with a newer injector with a better spray, but it is certainly not a place to start looking for power. Fuel rails add nothing but shiny parts to the engine bay.

If you do get new injectors you absolutely must get them tuned immediately. Otherwise you will run way too rich. You'll be down on power and you'll wash out your rings.
