Default Help: Install dual gauge pillar pod and oil and water temp

I'm going to be doing this soon and I just needed some pointers. I need instructions on what kind of lines to run and to where to get these gauges working. I have a mechanical oil pressure and water temp from autometer. I plan on putting them in my A-Pillar gauge pod. Thanks.

i ran my lines throught the grommet where the cruise control wires went through..

if using copper line... don't kink it... actually don't kink any line

for the lights in the guages.. wire them to the connector on the fuse box that is on when the lights are on.. it's towards the top. blade type connector. (i can take a pic if you'd like)

and i think that's it.

oh yeah.. take your stock oil sensor and throw it away. saves you from usin a t

also.. buy the metric thread adapter packet thingy (by sunpro) from autozone. that has the right piece for the oil line so it's the correct thread

i totally agree with this. the block thread type is BSPT and the fittings for the gauges are NPT. so get a BSPT to NPT adapter and you won't have any leaks.
