Default 12.1v idle, too low voltage!

I've got a high output alternator with new voltage regulator in it. It metered healthy 14.4v when its hot. Once it goes to idle, it meter 12.1v at 750rpm. Even with full loads, it still meter 12.1v. I really hate it because my amp dont like below 12.0v. If I remember correctly, its the ecu that control voltage that I cant really do anything about it? Is there any trick how to get 14.4v idle?

There's another thread on this page where a guy asks about bad grounding. Read that thread.
