D.i.y Motor mount inserts
one day my motor mounts went bad so they had to be replaced
. I have a 95 accord lx. got the new mount and was debating on whether or not I should get the poly inserts. so I did some research and came across a video on YouTube which, uses 3m window weld(Polyurethane) to fill the mounts as a sub to the inserts. now its about the same price as the ones on eBay and such. a tube costs about 25$ at AutoZone. Here's is the video I got the idea from,
I have done what you have seen in the video, and there as been a difference. I still don't think there fully cure due to the negative weather and snow we've been having. but me and my buddies thought it was a brilliant idea so we tried it.
The reason for the thread is to get input on what you guys think, and to just pass on the interesting DIY I have came across. so no bashing and such.
just let me know if there are any questions you have.
I am new to the forum, after just checking threads with no account. I figured it was time.
