hey guys, having a problem.

car 94 eg9, b16a manual.

the car drove fine until it stalled, but before doing so while driving the rpm needle dropped to 0 and so did the speedo while the car was still in motion average 60km. Even the digital clock went off.

i pulled aside and tried restarting it started and then the rpm dropped again while the engine was idling and the cut off. started again and as so i as engaged the clutch same thing again.

tried a few times and it until it moved and drove fine again until about 15mins of normal driving.

the ecu is throwing no check light etc


and help on this.

 

Your gauges are turning off...which means that the ignition is being turned off. Check your key cylinder. Next time the car is idling, jiggle or tap the key.

 

so my ignition is on its way out then

 

Did you do the key jiggle test? Key switches fail over time. Pretty easy to replace.
