00 civic si misfires
https://i.imgur.com/LpyHb2d.jpgi have a 2000 civic si with about 180k on it. i have had random misfires constantly. my acceleration seems to be very bogged down, like little to no power, so far i can not pinpoint what the problem is. it will do this right from start up to the point i turn it off. so far i have done, plugs, wires, and new distributor. when i pulled my plugs, cylinder 2 and 3 were terrible, one was charred, looked like from pre-detonation, the other one was black and covered in a sooty like material. i have searched these forums and so far i haven't found a clear answer. compression test everything was normal. two people have told me it is my crank positioning sensor? not sure how to test that or anything. any help would be appreciated.

hmmm. I came in to this thread to tell you it was the distributor lol. But since you have replaced it that probably aint the issue. Have any friends with obd2 distributors you could doubt check? In my experience misfires are caused by the things you have replaced. One thing you could double/triple check is are the plug wires in the correct order. Also check if the timing is set correctly, althought that generally only causes the vehicle to run rich/lean aka rough if it isn't set correctly.

I dont know about fuel filter. And how do I check the coil? And for the injectors just pull them out and look at the basically? Those plugs in picture are a year old. They were NGK. Distributor I got online from a Honda dealership in NC.
Did you install NGK plugs and OEM plug wires?
Coil testing - see Spark link in my signature and diagram in FAQs sticky.
Just replace the fuel filter. It's only about $20.
The white plugs indicate a lean condition for those cylinders.
You can remove fuel rail and inspect the injectors and also watch whether they properly spray fuel while cranking the engine.
