Default 1996 civic dx overheating

Hello i have a 1996 Honda Civic dx, its been overheating today it went as high as 227 degrees, ive changed the rad a few months ago, just changed the thermostat,waterpump is a few months old,new antifreeze in,fan is hard wired so it turns on when car starts(old owner did it),heater is warm

Did you bleed as described at the link? You want to ensure that there's no air in the cooling system before considering other possibilities.

ya ive seen that link before when i changed the waterpump, did it just like it says, im thinking maybe heater core clogged alil? idk

losing coolant,no leaks tho...white smoke -havnt checked...bubbles in coolant-when i had water in it a few days ago it did have bubbles

Rent (free) a block tester kit at AutoZone to test for exhaust gas in the coolant.

Yes

It appears that the head gasket may be blown or that the head/block mating surfaces are not flat.

I think you need to purchase the fluid.

hey i did the check and ya seems its alil blown, the blue turned a kinda green so some yellow was in it, gonna order the headgasket and change it,thanks man you know your stuff

Before you install a new gasket, check the head and block mating surfaces for warpage.
