00 civic/b18c1 swap - O2 sensor CEL code
Hey guys, so my 2000 civic b18c1 bard has a cel. I got it read and it was for the o2 sensor. I got it cleared but it came back a couple days later. I was just wandering if I buy a o2 sensor to fix the problem, do I buy the o2 sensor for civics or integra? I will update the code later when I get it read again later today and see which o2 sensor I have to replace because I don't know which one is bad. Thanks
So I got my cel read, I got 2 now, p0133 for bank 1 and p1297, can anyone direct me where the o2 sensor is located on a b18c1, help me out with p1297, it also has a obd2 with p28 ecu
P0133 can be thrown by a bad O2 sensor or an exhaust leak. Have you ruled out the latter?
P1297 - Electrical problem in the ELD circuit. Are the ELD wires disconnected from the ECU?

I don't know what ruled out the latter means, but I bought a new o2 sensor because it looks like it needs to be replaced, it looks bad and I had the eld code before for low voltage, I checked the fuses and I think I need to get a new/used fuse box from the junk yard to replace mine, and I didn't know that the eld wires connect to the ecu, I thought it was just a part in the fuse box you couldn't replace, I will check later
You generally cannot tell whether an O2 sensor is bad by looking at it. Did replacing the O2 sensor eliminate P0133?
Latter refers to exhaust leak.
What makes you think you need a fuse box? Have you checked dash fuse 15? It's rare for the ELD to fail so check fuse 15 and the wires of the ELD circuit.
