lol The reply I expected to get. I really thought I would have somebody that knows if the Comptech header is better. And if it is how much better? Probly no difference on the butt dyno Im guessing. Thanks for the help.

What is the collector size on the Comptech? 2.25"? 2.5"? That will answer your question.

If the car still has a USDM exhaust you're wasting your time with both headers.

There were different versions of the Comptech. The race header that hangs low is better. IIRC the regular version didn't do much at all.

Perhaps if you clarified your question you might get a better answer.

Garbage in = garbage out.

This is where I was going. Gioing from 2.25"-2.5" is a major difference.

I had a street version(regular) header and axleback. Didn't feel any drifferent with my butt dyno. If you care about the sound, it sounded between a SpoonSport and stock ITR. So, keep your JDM ITR header and sell the Comptech.

Thanks guys, just wanted opinions really. I will sell the Comptech and maybe put the funds towards wheels. Also, want stock decibel without loosing HP. So I want it to sound completely stock. I forgot to mention I really dont have an R.
The engine is actually in an 86 SI HB. The reason I spoke about the chassis is cuz the exhaust will have to be custom from header back and Im wanting quietness for stealth mode. Thanks

Everyone understood the question. Take your blinders off *****
You wouldnt ask a question about a Supercharged 5.8 mustang engine that you have in a Ford Pinto
in a Pinto forum would you? You would go straight to the Mustang forum. Again thanks for the help.

No, no one was sure of the question because you didn't realize that Comptech made a few different styles of B-series headers.

And there is forum here called "all motor" and/or "hybrid/engine swaps" where folks with questions like this hang out. So again, you assumed incorrectly.

And your English still sucked, regardless of what you think.

You failed to help yourself by asking an incomplete question and asking it in the wrong place.

Although a bit of easy searching would have told you that the Comptech or any 4-2-1 with 2.25" collector (that we think you have, although no one can be sure) is inferior to a 4-1 JDM header with a 2.5" collector.

It really isn't that difficult. Is the answer clear to you now?
