Default Few queations regarding Integra

What's up. I just have a few questions. I have a 1991 Integra. Car has a b18a1 with pr3 pistons, intake, header.

My car idles from 800-1000 back and forth when warmed up (I believe). No cel, I cleaned the FITV and IACV since both were dirty. My pcv isn't connected to the breather box because it is a PITA!! I have to go to Orlando to pick up my b18b1 valve cover. I just have a vacuum plug on it in the meantime. Is the idle fluctuation due to a small vacuum somewhere?

I think my car is running rich, as hell. Rear bumper is black but I can wipe it off. I'm sure this is due to the stock obd0 ecu. I have a chipped p06 that a buddy tuned. I just need my jumper harness since the one I bought was bad. I am looking to purchase fuel injectors as well for security and performance reasons. I just have the stock LS ones on. Can I swap higher cc Honda injectors? Or should I purchase aftermarket ones?

If someone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I would check ECT sensor, A/F ratio is set by the ECU/ECM with engine temp. info from the ECT sensor, [among other things].

Other symptoms of a bad ECT sensor are easy starting when engine is cold, harder starting when engine warm, poor fuel milage, poor engine performance, idel problems. 94

I will check it out. Even if I have no check engine light?

As long as you retune and input the new injectors into the basemap you can put what ever you want on.

Yeah, I know this. However, my question is, for example LS injectors are certain CC's, maybe H series are a higher CC or another B series injector are higher. Or should I buy aftermarket injectors with a higher CC than LS ones. I'm running stock ECU right now but I do have my chipped ECU.

Another thing, I know dyno is the best way to tune but will a simple chip be enough? Or must I street or dyno tune?

Your car is basically stock. Just use stock injectors.

As he said ^. Theres really no use in adding more fuel if your current injectors aren't seeing 80-100% duty cycle regularly.

But to answer the question I think your asking, it depends on what goal your trying to reach hp wise. If your going to stay basic bolt on's and n/a your not going to need to upgrade them.

Ditto the above^^^, you do not need bigger injectors. 94

Okay perfect. I'm not really shooting for a specific hp here, just a daily that needed a bottom end rebuild.

As far as my pcv valve being plugged up for the moment is that okay?

I just did an oil change. I hear a ticking sound coming from the distributor and my car will idle fine then seem like a small misfire and repeat the process. My cable going to cylinder one seems to be bad. What exactly is that ticking sound?

You may want to just get the struggle over with and reconnect it. It helps with emissions and all that (not that we have to worry about it here in FL)

Might be your valve lash being out of spec, when was the last time you adjusted the rocker arms?

Haha, yeah I was like Florida doesn't care about all that. I'm just waiting to get my b18b1 valve cover. I was just wondering if that affected performance. I adjusted the valves maybe ... 2k miles ago? Exactly to spec. However, like I said, I guess the cable is going bad since it makes good contact and will idle fine but then lose contact I guess and start a small misfire.

Nothing noticeable but eventually plan on hooking it back up. If it doesn't go away when you swap the plugs with new ones then it may be something in the cap of the dizzy.
