May be a problem with the ECT [engine coolant temperature] sensor, check the spark plugs to see if engine is running rich.

The ECT sensor supplies ECU/ECM with engine temp., it will run rich when cold and then lean out as engine temp. goes up, if it does not and you are running rich symptoms will be...

Easy starting when cold.
Harder starting when warm.
Poor fuel economy.
Poor running engine, bogging and possible stalling. 94

from what the guys says that it runs some time and when it does it idles fine and then when it reaches normal temp you give it gas and it dies.

My 01 GSR have these problems
Easy starting when cold. ( starts like a champ)
Harder starting when warm. (Changed starter, at least it will start now when its hot/under sun for sometime , but feels weak )
Poor fuel economy. (25 mpg average now, it used to be 30)
How should i get started to solve this problem?
Thank you!

I have no idea. I am looking to buy this car. I aksed the seller if there was any codes or other symptoms that the car might be having.
