88 CRX Si driver axle pinches back of hub, help!
While replacing my axles today the passenger side went fine, but the drivers side would stop the wheel from spinning after tightening the axle nut and the wheel wouldn't spin in neutral.

This is the axle i used, (same brand for the other side) I removed the abs ring. We took some measurements and it would appear the section pas the splines the expands and has a rubber ring around it that meets the back of the hub is larger on the new axle.
My question becomes has this happened to anyone else?
I double checked and it is the correct part number and length. The only difference is the diameter of the base and rubber ring.
should i just remove the dust ring on my knuckle? or should i try another supposed 88 crx si fitting axle?
Thanks
