Default LSVtec Build Yielded Terrible Numbers and Leaking Oil From Header Bolt

Hey everyone, I recently went lsvtec in my 1995 Integra RS, and the power numbers are bad. I have
-B18b1 block stock bottom end
Pros
-GSR head
-CTR cams
-Full Skunk2 Valvetrain
-Larger Intake Valves
-Skunk2 Cam Gears
-Benen Fuel Rail(Which I do not recommend)
-Blox Intake Manifold
Cons
-Stock Headers, Cat, and piping.
I was dynotuned by a very good tuner in my area.
I made 158 hp. I don't remember the torque, but presumably not very high. I also don't have the sheet to show you.

I do not understand the low numbers. I understand I'm being severely restricted by my exhaust, and once I get more money I will be getting headers test pipe piping, but 158 out of this build is terrible. Any thoughts? VTEC is engaging.

Another Problem I'm having is that I leak oil out of my top left-most header bolt. I kid you know when I put the head on and poured oil into it it was leaking out of the bolt. It still leaks, and I'm wondering if this could have an adverse effect on the power numbers. Thanks

What dyno was this on? Not all dynos will read the same. Get the graph, it will tell us a lot. Until then, it's just wild speculation.

And there is no way oil can be leaking out of a header bolt unless you cracked the head so bad it made its way into an oil passage. Are you sure it's not coming from the cam seal or vtec solenoid?

some 440cc fuel injectors, higher compression pistons pr3's or p30's, arp headstuds, light flywheel and a good tune would of made your goal. Deff need to do your research, took me almost a year before I started building my LSV motor.

Dyno jet. My friends car made 177 right after me. And I'm more built than him. I'm 100% positive it's leaking from the header bolt. I watched it drain through there while no headers were bolted on

As doood said unless somehow you severly cracked the head you won't have oil leaking from there. For a lsv with that done 158 is normal....

All the big gains are header----back. All of that is stock. Wonders why it's not making enough power.

numbers seem fine to me. you added flow on the intake side and the motor can't breathe.

Without exhaust work, i wouldnt expect anything more than what you made...as for the leak, I dont know how oil would be leaking out of the header bolt unless the head is cracked. Is there oil leaking inside the header next to that bolt? Burning oil at all?

It's not burning much oil, it's just covered the front side of the block. Also I assumed a full exhaust would only open up 10 hp or so. Am I incorrect?

It depends on the build. You built a car to breathe and you're choking it off where you gain the most power. Intakes don't do anything, intake manifolds don't do much either. A good header and free flowing exhaust will gain good midrange/peak on a stock motor. Put all of that **** together and you'll make the power. You might even be hurting yourself with your current mods because of the stock header-back.

It depends on how much of a bottleneck it is causing and how well all of the components work together...one way to find out (new exhaust and retune)
