Hey guys, I amabout to install my rocker arm assembly into my z6 del sol. I'm confused about the order to torque the bolts in because at first i was told to start from the middle and work outward in a criss cross pattern. BUT i have a chilton repair manual and it says to start from the outsides and work inside. im holding off for now because i dont want to screw anything up, does anyone know the REAL pattern? anyone have experence with installing rocker arm assemblys?

 

Chiltons is way wrong. I dislike Chiltons and Hanes both.

 

Throw that Chilton's away and buy/borrow/download a true factory service manual - they're readily available, and have factory information that will be correct.
