2000 Honda Accord Speedometer
I have searched the forums, and haven't seen the exact issue. I am having an issue with the speedometer sticking between 40-70 MPH only after I use the cruise control. If I never turn on the cruise or engage it, I have no issues with the speedometer at all. I can even hit the cluster the the needle will jump down to current speed, but then stick again at that speed. It doesn't move until I either decel below 40 mph or accel above 80. I can even re-engage the cruise control when its sticking with no problems. Not sure exactly how to troubleshoot besides just not using the cruise control, but it's pretty useful on the autobahns. Thanks!
The speedometer sticks after using cruise control between 40-70 mph. Will not adjust to actual speed til you drop below 40 mph or above 70 mph. If cruise control is not used or engaged there is no sticking. It's only after cruise control is used. Not sure which direction to go for troubleshooting and if anyone has had a similar problem. I have checked the forums, but nothing close to this. Don't know if it would be a VSS issue or not since it only occurs after using cruise control.
