Press Release: JE Pistons joins CLM Motorsports SFWD program

We are very excited to announce that JE Pistons will be the exclusive piston supplier for the 2014 season for the CLM Motorsports SFWD Civic of Ricky Silva. “We are looking forward to partnering up with JE Pistons and can’t wait to try out some of their new piston designs that are specifically designed for high horsepower applications.” - Ricky Silva
“JE pistons is excited to work with Ricky Silva using our robust asymmetrical piston design. Specifically designed for high horsepower, forced induction engines. Stronger than “full round” designs and around 20% lighter. Includes JE’s proprietary “Smooth finish crown” process that improves the surface finish of the piston crown and edges by up to two times.”
“JE’s unique asymmetrical skirt design process a larger piston skirt on the heavily stressed major thrust side, while reducing friction and weight with a small skirt area on the less stressed minor thrust side. As a result, asymmetrical pistons can provide a piston that is lighter than traditional designs while reducing friction and increasing performance. Other benefits include a shorter wrist pin that provides up to a 20% reduction in weight and a high strength 2618 aluminum alloy perfectly suited for high horsepower forced induction engines.” –Darius Tarman, JE Pistons

JE pistons are the best on the market IMO!
The assymetrical skirt design pistons are truly a work of art! All of their pistons in our sets have been within .0001" of each other making machine work much easier!
