Default Crane cams vtec killers

Has any 1 used them on a b20vtec build ? I'm going to be running 86mm 13.5:1 compression just wondering if it's worth it or stick with bc stage 3 and if there safe for spray

Depends which grind you have. They are offered by Ferrea now and some of the grinds make huge midrange power, and pretty good top end on an all motor setup. Should really outperform what you have now by leaps and bounds

Ive got a couple sets of the crane grinds.
I personally like the roller setup but have been wanting to toss in my pro 3's as a comparo.
Crane does not produce them anymore and ferrea only makes the newer style cams with the thinner lobe.

The current grinds in my car are the smaller ones in the rhon crane grinds and they did make killer midrange beat the **** out of my toda c's until the 7400-7600 range where the leveled off.

I got the older style from when crane was making them , how many ferrea rocker arms would I Need to run this setup and would it be safe down the road to spray with 100 shot , if I can make decent power midrange to top with these cams I'd be happy but haven't seen many people talk about em

You have the rockers or cams already?
You would need 8 rockers.
which grinds do you have any idea?
You shouldnt have a problem with nitrous and safety depends on the tune of the car.
The crane billets are very high quality material I have heard and read about bad luck with the typical 3 lobe cams breaking.

Depending on the grinds you have and other engine setup is to how well the nitrous will actually perform on the motor.

Hey whichever choice you do if possible, could you post results? I have a friend with am 84mm b20 setup on spray and he's gonna be using m24xx. Can't go wrong with pro 3 though. 3 lobe cam if this were my setup would be pro 3, m25xx, or m24xx. This sounds like a serious setup and I'm curious too see that work(results)!!
