Default b18 stroker

So my buddy has a 99 gsr which currently has a motor being built for it with a crower stroker kit beefing up the bottom end throwin it up to a 2.1 liter. He has been lookin around and still hasn't decided what hes doin with the head. Does anyone have any opinions on what route he should take and who makes the most efficient products(perfomance and price), mainly cams?

Type-r head since it has most stuff done already, maybe some high stage skunk2 cams,
or go with something like Toda, or Jun ..

Even better ha, if he's going all out, get some vtec killer cams, I think those are Toda.

Thanks for the help but you basically named the 3 most reputable cams out there. Has anyone had any experience with these or any others that performed at or above their expectations?

The skunk2's have been proven over and over again to make good power. Also you could check out Rocket Motorsports.

Since the bottom end is all crower, he was also considering using their cams. Anyone know anything bout the crower 63401 bumpsticks?

The motor is also gonna b supercharged in about a year. Any particular cams that would work better with the supercharger?

the crower 63401 is jus a ctr replica. dont worry bout gettin a itr head considering the head is gonna get built ur not gonna use the cams/valvetrain correct? and since ur goin stroker chances are this car is gonna be fully built so i would say jus go for whatever head u can get for cheap, rocket cams/valvetrain, rmf header, portflow port/polish, and contact ib and get a ported manifold from him, or rlz has a new manifold that looks really nice but i dont know if they are on sale yet.

correct, the head is getting fully rebuilt. He wasn't planning on getting an ITR head, just replacing all internals. I agree paying for an ITR head would be a waste of money. Ive been hearing a lot about rocket motorsports, good for supercharging>?
