U-brake turned into E!-brake!
St. Louis and much of the Midwest is in the deep of old man winters snooze. I ran out late one nite and found my e-brake had seized. I had to rev up the motor and damn near do a burn out to break it loose. So I jacked it up and was going to DIY and busted a stud(maybe my lowered suspension did, I just discovered it). So I had to put it in the garage. The garage cleaned up the brake dust and adjusted my u-brake handle. The garage suggested not using the emergency brake unless absolutely necessary (I.E. hills, parking lots, etc.). For $160 I could have figured that out for myself, had I been able to cut the stud. No tools at the old man's house. Point being....!!!!Emergency brakes like to seize up, I'm a keep some deicer with me handy. Opinions?
what are you asking imo replace the cables they're 60 each from Honda and less at a part store. that way it won't mess up again. "U-BRAKE" pls explain
