I recently got a 98 Civic 1.6L. It has 190xxx miles and it was leaking some oil. My friend (honda mechanic) helped me pull the engine/tranny and do a timing belt, some seals, etc. Ever since it has been missing (I think on cylinder 3) at low rpms under load once warmed up. I tried new plug wires and no dice.

If nothing else it is very irritating. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

new plug wires? correct firing order?
clean injectors? injector wiring good?
dizzy cap pulled and cleaned/rotor and cap?
tried rotating dizzy?
