96 Civic Cx Bogs Down
i Just bought a 96 cx auto. When the car is cold and I start it up and drive off, It kinda bogs down when it shifts into 2nd gr and I have to pump on the gas so it can catch itself. Just got a new dizzy installed , along with a major tune up with new spark plugs wires and a valve job. Its still giving me this problem. Any ideas?
Also the civic is a Canadian model
it only does it when the car is cold. It doesn't do it after a few mins of driving. I have no check engine light or anything.

iacv? you take it off and clean it? and ficv/fitv(under TB)
in honda terms. the coolant valve on the back of the intake manifold needs cleaned. theres another valve under the throttle body that could use some cleaning...or delete it...
any CEL? good fuel pump? clean injectors?

Kinda pissed i bought that new dizzy for nothing. Mechanic thought it was the coil in the dizzy, but recommended i get a whole new dizzy just in case. This is after i bought new cap and rotor for the original dizzy and had a major tune up done and a valve job.
I dont wanna spend another dime!

Just had a major tune up. I think they did that. I'll try letting the car warm up, but i never had a car that had too "warm up".
So if letting the car warm up stops the issue, where do i start as far as fixing the problem?
