Default Wiring and ECU help: swap b18c1(obd2a) into 00 Si
So i have a fully built b18c1. the bottom end is out of a 98 gsr and im not sure about the year of the head. i want to swap it into my 2000 Em1 Si. i have a couple different jumper harnesses laying around(obd2b to obd1, obd2a to obd1) and was wondering if one of them would work or do i need to modify them? I also need to figure out which obd1 ecu to use. i have a p28 already but should i look for a obd1 p72 instead?

Why not use an OBD2B P72 GSR ECU?

bc I have a full turbo setup that i want to run and want to run ostrich on a chipped obd1 ecu

Then it doesn't matter what ECU you use.

OBD2B to OBD1, have the P28 socketed and have someone tune it once your build is together.
