hello everyone,
I just bought a 2003 Honda accord EX 2.4l engine automatic with 110000 miles. I have had the car for about a month when this problem started to occur.

when I start the car the engine runs smooth. when I shift to drive I get a vibration through the hood and through the dash and steering wheel. if I shift to neutral it stops and in reverse the vibrations aren't as bad. when I step on the gas the vibrations stop at anything over 1000 RPM.

I have cleaned both the throttle body as well as the IACV. I have also replaced the air intake and air filter. gave it new spark plugs along with fuel injector cleaner.

lastly I have replace the front motor mount but not the rear or front right. after replacing this the vibrations got a little bit better.

my gut says change the other 2 mounts but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Watch the engine while someone shifts, if the engine moves more than about an inch then inspect the rear mount.

 

I have brake torqued my engine while watching it and I get a significant amount of lift. I am almost certain that this is the problem I would just like any other advice before investing in the other two mounts.
